A few weeks ago I wrote a column in which I quoted a section of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, the part that says people in the military should not and cannot execute an order that is illegal. The column was about the instability of the two civilians in charge of our military, Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump. I even mused that I could understand how military coups could happen.
