It all comes down to this at the 2025 Hero World Challenge.

This limited-field event of 20 golfers, including world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, are enjoying some golf at Tiger's bash at Albany Golf Course in the Bahamas. There's a $1 million payday awaiting the winner on Sunday evening.

First playoff hole

Both players in the fairway off the tee. They're playing the par-4 18th, with the playoff order being 18-18-9-18. Noren finds the green but is about 25 feet away. Meanwhile, Hideki throws one in tight and he has almost a tap-in birdie.

Noren gives it a good run, but his birdie putt just misses. Hideki knocks it in, and he wins the Hero World Challenge for the second time in his career.

Alex Noren ties Hideki Matsuyama at 22 under

Hideki shoots 64 in the final round, but then Alex Noren buries a birdie behind him and we're going to a playoff between those two. Straka and Scheffler can join with eagles on the last hole.

Straka moves within a shot

Hideki Matsuyama remains at 22 under with two holes to play, and Sepp Straka is one back. Scottie Scheffler, J.J. Spaun and Alex Noren are all two shots behind.

Hideki moves 2 ahead

With five holes to go, this is Hideki Matsuyama's tournament to lose. He birdied yet another hole, the 13th, moving to 8 under on the day and he's at 22 under, two ahead of Sepp Straka and three ahead of Alex Noren.

Scottie Scheffler chips in to move 2 back

Here he comes. Scottie chips in on No. 10 and is now only two behind Straka and Matsuyama. Can he come from behind to win for the third straight time?

Hideki ties lead with hole-out eagle

And just like that, Hideki Matsuyama is tied for the lead. He holes out for eagle on the par-4 10th and has tied Sepp Straka at 21 under.

Straka's lead is 2 at the turn

Sepp Straka is putting the pressure on the field. He reaches 21 under after his fourth birdie on the front nine at No. 9, and he moves two ahead of Hideki Matsuyama and three in front of Scottie Scheffler.

Straka goes 3 ahead of Scheffler

A Scheffler bogey on No. 4 followed by a dart on the par-5 fifth from Straka leads to a three-shot advantage for the Austrian over world No. 1 and Hideki Matsuyama.

Straka remains 1 ahead after 3

Sepp Straka birdied the first hole to go up two shots, but Scottie Scheffler bounced back with a birdie of his own at No. 3 to shrink the lead to one shot. Hideki Matsuyama is the closest pursuer at 15 under and three behind Straka.

Leaders underway at Albany

Sepp Straka and Scottie Scheffler have teed off in the final sound, so time to settle in and enjoy watching some Sunday golf at Tiger's event. Straka holds a one-shot lead with 18 holes to go.

Golf Channel has live coverage of the Hero World Challenge from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET before turning it over to NBC and Peacock, which has the live golf from 1:30 p.m. ET to 4:30 p.m. ET.

The purse at the Hero is $5 million, with the winner taking home $1 million.

Golfers have won the Hero since it moved to the Bahamas

Tiger Woods' event, which began in 2000 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, will be held for the 26th time this week. The event has been contested at four different courses, though its home has been in the Bahamas since 2015. The field was also increased to 20 players in 2021. Seven golfers have won the nine playings of the tournament at the Albany.
