Good morning. The WCGSL returns from its two-week habitual holiday hiatus to find a first-place Chicago Bears team playing its biggest game of the year.

When we left off, the Bears had just beaten the New York Giants, again in cardiac fashion, and were beginning to head into the teeth of their schedule. Since then, they’ve righted the ship against the Minnesota Vikings, played their most normal game of the year against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and then played their most complete game of the year against the Philadelphia Eagles.

And we can all still see there’s room to improve.

The Bears have another huge test today as they take on the Green Bay Packers for the first time this season in a battle to retain control of the NFC (and the NFC North), and we’re finally back to break it all down
