Alexandra Dudley had lived in Stafford for 23 years with her partner, Andrew, before returning to her hometown of Nottingham to run the Mousetrap Social
Alexandra Dudley was running a pub managed by Amber Taverns in Nantwich, Cheshire, when she found out the company had bought a new venue in Nottingham city centre , the former Copper City bar .
Originally from Nottingham, she knew straight away that the unit located on the corner of Upper Parliament Street and Market Street would be her next venture, with a strong wish to return home after 23 years.
With her children all grown up and coming from a family of pub runners, the 44-year-old and her partner decided to take a leap of faith and leave their careers in the NHS and as a lorry driver and take over the pub in Cheshire in 2024.
