The final College Football Playoff rankings come out today and there will be a new No. 1 seed.
On Saturday, Dec. 6 unbeaten Ohio State lost to Indiana in the Big Ten championship game. The Buckeyes came into the game as the top seed.
Now things for the Buckeyes are uncertain. Ohio State could still get a first-round bye if it gets the No. 4 seed in the 12-team tournament .
That would mean Ohio State plays the winner of the game between the No. 5 seed and the No. 12 seed. That is expected to be Oregon and Tulane.
