With its cobbled streets, centuries-old buildings, and a cathedral that dominates the skyline, Salisbury has a magic that's easy to fall in love with. Not too far from Stonehenge, the small city is breathtaking and filled with history as well as plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from without the crowds that you'd find in other places like Cambridge, Bath or the Cotswolds . Home to over 150 independent businesses in its city centre, according to the Salisbury BID, there's always something new to discover in its medieval centre.
One of my favourite discoveries was a small gift shop on Winchester Street called Stuff Emporium. Its shelves were overflowing with products from local artisans, everything from handmade candles, crystals, mugs, to intricate jewellery.
