Matty Cash says Unai Emery is even more demanding with his Aston Villa players amid their strong run of form.

After beating Arsenal, Villa closed the gap to the league leaders to just three points, having now won nine of their last 10 league matches.

Emi Buendia scored Villa’s winning goal with the final kick of the game on Saturday, after Leandro Trossard had pegged the hosts back by equalising early in the second half.

Cash had put Villa in front 10 minutes before half-time, firing beyond David Raya from an angle after being set up by Pau Torres.

Following their 13th win in 15 matches since drawing 1-1 at Sunderland back in September, the right-back revealed that Emery will be even more intense with his team in a bid to maintain their strong form.
