The weekend after Thanksgiving is not traditionally known for being a box office powerhouse, but Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 helped give it a charge with a $63 million take. This is less than the $80 million the first film brought in during its opening weekend, but considerably more than was projected for the sequel, and on a $36 million budget.
Zootopia 2 , which won last weekend, came in second with $43 million. The film has already pulled in $220.5 million domestically, and an astounding $915.8 million globally, setting it on course to hit well over a billion dollars at the box office in short order.
