SEATTLE, Wash. (WNDU) - What started as a way to build community during the Covid-19 pandemic, quickly grew into something much larger for Rob Kenney.
“I was just trying to pass along some information to some people that maybe could use it,” says Kenney, founder of ‘Dad, How Do I?’
In April of 2020, Kenney started the ‘Dad, How Do I?’ YouTube page. He says he only expected to build a community of 30 or 40 followers. Today, Kenney has over 5 million subscribers on YouTube.
His message centers around what he calls, “dadvice.” His popular how-to videos cover a wide range of topics, from tying a tie to shaving. Kenney says he aims to share wholesome messages with his viewers.
