CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - One person is seriously hurt after a shooting Sunday morning in Charlotte, according to MEDIC.

MEDIC said one person was found with a gunshot wound on Old Statesville Road near Charlotte Fire Station 28. However, MEDIC said the person was not shot there.

The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have not released any information about what led up to the shooting.
