Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett’s pursuit of history is bringing out the brashness in those around the NFL media.
Former San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions head coach and current NFL Network "GameDay Morning" analyst Steve Mariucci is on board with Garrett’s pursuit.
In the Sunday morning show’s “bold predictions” segment, Mariucci predicted Garrett would break the single season sack record held by former New York Giant Michael Strahan and Pittsburgh Steeler T.J. Watt.
Given that Garrett is 4.5 sacks away coming into Sunday’s meeting against the Tennessee Titans at Huntington Bank Field Sunday and has posted a five-sack game this season (in a loss against New England) along with a three-sack effort. It’s not out of the realm of possibility.
