Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins returned from a concussion and was Joe Burrow's favorite target in his first two quarters back.
Then Higgins head slammed against the frozen turf at Highmark Stadium.
On first-and-10 from the Buffalo Bills ' 43-yard line, Burrow went deep for Higgins along the left sideline. He sat on the ground as trainers tended to him during an injury timeout.
Higgins had four receptions on five targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in the first half.
Higgins was evaluated from a concussion and cleared to return.
Higgins did not play in Week 13 after suffering a concussion on Nov. 23. He cleared the league's concussion
