Alabama didn’t get to rest easy Saturday night.
The Crimson Tide lost the SEC Championship Game and failed to lock up the conference’s automatic bid for the College Football Playoff .
“When it’s not in your control, there’s always anxious times,” Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer said Sunday on ESPN. “Really still felt good about what we accomplished all season long. You just trust that resume, if you want to call it that, is what’s going to provide the information to help make this type of decision.”
And it did. The CFP committee didn’t drop Alabama at all in the rankings, keeping the Crimson Tide inside the playoff field.
