FREMONT — The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums is hosting two book clubs this week, one featuring a Mark Twain novel and the other a nonfiction book about building the transcontinental railroad.

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn will be discussed Tuesday from 2 to 3 p.m. by the President’s Library Book Club.

Participants read books by some of President Rutherford B. Hayes’ favorite authors and novels with modern interpretations of those stories. The club is a partnership of the presidential museum and Birchard Public Library in Fremont.

The Wednesday read for the Presidential History Book Club, which meets every other month, is Nothing Like It in the World by historian Stephen E. Ambrose.
