A pickup lost control on black ice early Saturday and struck a Cascade School District bus carrying Cascade High School wrestlers on SR 97 near Knapps Tunnel.
The bus was knocked onto its side but none of the students or coaches on the bus were seriously injured.
The driver of the pickup was injured and transported to an area hospital.
All students on the bus were evaluated at Lake Chelan Health as a precaution before being released to parents or transported home.
The bus driver sustained injuries. Coach D’Andre Vasquez helped care for students until first responders arrived.
The Washington State Patrol and bystanders say icy road conditions contributed to the crash.
