The Jets are onto their third quarterback of 2025. And they certainly didn’t make it easy on undrafted rookie Brady Cook, who made his NFL debut on Sunday with his team already down 21-0 to the Dolphins late in the first quarter.
The Jets’ defense gave up three straight touchdowns to start the game, including one on a short field after starting Tyrod Taylor threw an interception on the Jets’ second drive of the game deep in his own territory.
Taylor came up limping on the third drive and went to the locker room. The Jets said the veteran was questionable to return with a groin injury. Justin Fields, who lost his starting job last month, suffered a knee injury in practice this week and was ruled out of the game on Friday.
