A 37-year-old motorcyclist has died from injuries suffered in a collision with another vehicle Saturday night at the intersection of Plantation and Kunia roads.
At about 10:25 p.m. Saturday, a 37-year-old man riding a motorcycle was traveling southbound on Kunia Road when he lost control and traveled into the northbound lane where he collided head on with another vehicle driven by a 33-year-old man, according to police.
As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist was ejected onto the grassy shoulder area. Honolulu Emergency Medical Services transported the man in critical condition to an area hospital where he later died. He was wearing a helmet at the time the collision. His identity was not immediately released.
