SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities say four people have been arrested after a domestic dispute led to gunfire and vandalism in Sumter County on Saturday.
The Sumter County Sheriff's Office said deputies were initially called to a residence on Edgehill Road on Saturday morning, then returned about an hour later after being told the dispute hadn't ended.
The sheriff's office said deputies were on the way when they learned that the incident had become violent and shots had been fired.
"Upon arrival, deputies determined the individuals involved had allegedly vandalized and fired shots into each other's unoccupied vehicles," the sheriff's office said.
Despite the gunfire, there were no reports of injuries in the incident.
