BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The LSU Tigers are headed to the Texas Bowl.

The official announcement was made on Sunday, December 7.

The Tigers will take on the Houston Cougars on Saturday, December 27, at NRG Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m.

This will be the second year in a row that LSU has appeared in the Texas Bowl. The Tigers took on Baylor in 2024 and won 44-31.

LSU wrapped up its regular season with a 7-5 overall record. In the final game of the season, the purple and gold fell to Oklahoma 13-17. Houston’s overall record is 9-3.
