The Battle for the Ol’ School Bell is back.

Jacksonville State and Troy are set to renew their historic rivalry in the IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl, marking the first matchup between the two squads since 2001.

The bowl matchup will take place at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery on Tuesday, Dec. 16. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. CT and the game will be broadcast on ESPN.

“We are excited to continue our season and look forward to competing one more time in our home state,” Jax State coach Charles Kelly said in a release. “This is an exciting matchup for our fans and look forward to a great crowd in Montgomery.”
