CINCINNATI —

Cincinnati police say that two juveniles have been hospitalized after a shooting in Avondale.

Police say that one of the juveniles' injuries was severe enough to immediately require them to be transferred to an operating room at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. The other juvenile was reportedly grazed by a bullet, and only has minor injuries.

One of the juveniles is said by officers to be a boy, while the other is a girl. Their ages were not provided by police.

According to police, the shooting broke out after a fight, with officers telling WLWT that there is a long history of conflict that has existed between local residents who live on the street.
