Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy described recent talks with American representatives regarding a peace plan for Ukraine as constructive but challenging. The talks precede his scheduled meetings with European leaders.
On Saturday, Zelenskiy held discussions with U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, and Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner. He is set to further these discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron and leaders from Britain and Germany in London.
Zelenskiy remarked that American officials understand Ukraine's fundamental positions, acknowledging that the dialogue was constructive, albeit not without difficulties.
