GREEN BAY — The Green Bay Packers are in first place in the NFC North. And while they emerged victorious in the 211th installment of their longstanding rivalry with the Chicago Bears on Sunday, it’ll be fascinating to see what happens when they reconvene in 13 days at Soldier Field.

But on this day, the Packers escaped with a 28-21 victory over their archrivals at Lambeau Field, with cornerback Keisean Nixon picking off a fourth-down Caleb Williams throw in the end zone to clinch the victory with 22 seconds left in the game.

The win improved the Packers to 9-3-1, giving them sole possession of first place in the division. The Bears fell to 9-4.

The teams will play again on Saturday, Dec. 20, at Soldier Field in a prime-time rematch.
