A man was injured during a home invasion Sunday evening in Swissvale.

Allegheny County police said that at about 5:48 p.m., county 911 was notified of an armed home invasion in the 2500 block of Delaware Avenue.

First responders found an adult male victim suffering from head lacerations. He was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

A preliminary investigation determined that multiple armed actors entered the home and pistol-whipped the victim.

County police are investigating.
