Dennis I. Mendelson, age 78, passed away on Dec. 5, 2025. He was born May 17, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio. He is the grandson of Morris and Florence Mendelson, the son of Edith and Gerald Mendelson, loving husband to Stephanie Mendelson and devoted father to Jennifer, Aaron and Joshua Mendelson. He is the father-in-law to Sora and Fran Mendelson and grandfather of Kinneret, Yarden, Leah, Chaya, Tova and Moshe Mendelson.

He was a graduate of Bexley High School and The Ohio State University. He was the proud owner of Duratile Carpet and Tile Company, he served in the Air National Guard and was an active member of the Columbus community as president of Agudas Achim Synagogue.
