CLEVELAND, Ohio — When standing in front of his locker after the Titans’ 31-29 defeat over the Browns , Tennessee left guard Peter Skoronski mentioned NFL Films.

He highlighted a moment from the 2001 season. When Hall of Fame edge rusher Michael Strahan’s sack on Brett Favre gave him the single-season record for sacks (22.5).

That highlight became a personal goal for him to help prevent Browns All-Pro defensive end Myles Garrett, who’s creeping up on the record made by Strahan, and later matched by T.J. Watt in 2021, from recreating that moment.

“I was not wanting to be on any NFL Films legendary tape of him breaking the record,” Skoronski said. “I can picture Michael Strahan sacking Brett Favre to get the record. So I was like, ‘I cannot. We cannot do that.’ ”
