Pat Kraft was a busy man before he made the decision to fire Penn State football coach James Franklin in mid-October.
The Nittany Lions’ athletic director oversees a number of highly successful sports, as well as the ongoing $700 million renovation of iconic Beaver Stadium.
The last seven weeks or so? Kraft has been even busier.
Penn State has found its permanent replacement for Franklin, who is now Virginia Tech’s head coach.
PSU announced the hiring of Matt Campbell, the former Iowa State head coach, on Friday.
Campbell’s introductory news conference is scheduled for Monday afternoon in the Beaver Stadium media room.
