A man from one part of Merseyside said his street has started to look like the ‘moon’ after years of neglect by Knowsley Council. Jacob Maguire lives in Prescot and contacted the Liverpool ECHO after reading a report about parking issues in Litherland, specifically problems around neglected grass verges and footpaths.
In relation to the concerns raised in Litherland , the ECHO were told delivery vans frequently get stuck in the mud and residents have reported slipping up and falling over into puddles.
Jacob said his street was experiencing similar problems, adding: “Where we live in the close there’s a footpath going up towards the park, and the council just left it for years.
