The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire in Bedford has many cats, dogs, and rabbits looking for their forever homes.
One of them is Hilda, who has spent more than 700 days in the shelter.
Hilda is a 4-year-old Great Dane who lost her eyesight, but that hasn't stopping her from looking for a loving family to call her own.
Like most Great Danes, Hilda is goofy and affectionate, often showing her love by giving hugs. She can often be found romping around and playing with toys.
Since Hilda is still adjusting to life without her sight, she needs a home with a steady routine.
Her ideal family will be patient as she adapts to a new environment. She would prefer to be the only pet in an adult-only home, and experienced dog handlers would be a big help.
