Mitchell Schwartz wants the NFL to decide punishment for Rashee Rice’s fourth-quarter penalty against the Commanders. It became a talking point after it initially looked like he had fired the ball at safety Quan Martin’s helmet following a 25-yard catch.

Replays, however, showed Rice was actually trying to toss the ball to the referee, who had his hands out calling for it, and Martin happened to be in the way. But it seems Schwartz isn’t convinced.

“I know, I played for the Chiefs, the NFL is rigged, blah blah. Gets hit right in the face, it’s the definition of the penalty,” he wrote on X.

This is a developing story.
