More than 130 locals have said no to a HMO plan for Nuneaton Post Office branch. Initially plans were revealed for a 15-bedroom House of Multiple Occupation (HMO) within changes set to be made 212 Higham Lane - which is Higham Lane Food and Wine and includes the Post Office.

But a revised application changed this to make the same changes but for a smaller sized HMO - 13 bedrooms. Because of the change, there was a delay in a decision being made on the application.

However, planning committee members will meet on .Tuesday, December 16 and it is being recommended that they approve the plan. This is despite more than 130 locals objecting to it.
