ROCKFORD, Ill. — A Rockford man is facing mulitple first-degree murder charges after an early Sunday shooting.
Rockford Police said around 1:13 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the 300 block of Buckbee Street for a ShotSpotter alert.
When officers arrived, they found a 35-year-old man who was shot. He was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
Rockford Police later arrested 25-year-old Lavaughntray Vaughn.
Vaughn faces four counts of First Degree Murder and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.
