BALDWIN PARK, Calif. (KABC) -- A family is heartbroken after their loved one was killed in a deadly motorcycle crash in Baldwin Park.
Now, they're trying to pick up the pieces and find a way to pay for his funeral.
There is now a growing memorial in Baldwin Park for 29-year-old Jorge Chavez.
Chavez was hit on Friday morning while riding his motorcycle through the intersection of Baldwin Park Boulevard and Los Angeles Street. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
His family has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover funeral costs.
They told Eyewitness News he was a beloved uncle and a hard-working UPS worker.
"When we found out the news, we were in a very painful situation. We didn't believe it," Chavez's aunt, Gloria Reyes, said in Spanish. "We never would'
