QUAD CITIES, Iowa/Ill. (KWQC) -
Active weather pattern this week
Rain/snow Tuesday night
Snow Thursday/Friday
Winter’s onslaught continues, with morning lows near or below zero across the area and passing flurries. We should warm into the mid-20s this afternoon, and south winds will raise temperatures overnight, setting us up for a much warmer Tuesday.
Tuesday will bring highs near 40° for the first time in a while melting some of the snowpack. Our next clipper arrives Tuesday evening, bringing a wintry mix before giving way to snow showers and breezy conditions on Wednesday.
The next system to watch comes Thursday/Friday, when another round of snow will push through the area, followed by an Arctic plunge ahead of the weekend. Timing is still uncertain, it could be daytime snow Thurs
