BBC Breakfast's Jon Kay and Sally Nugent delivered some devastating death news just minutes into Monday's programme. Whilst presenting this morning's headlines, the hosts revealed that renowned photographer Martin Parr had died.

They also devoted a special tribute segment later in the show to honour the photographer's life and accomplishments. Sally began, "Now. Martin Parr, the photographer whose colourful images captured and defined British life, has died at the age of 73."
