After a junior season that established him as one of the state’s best football players, Brandon Simmons knew what was coming.
So, the Glassboro senior set out to become even better.
“The first thing I was working on was fighting these double-teams and triple-teams all offseason,” Simmons said. “I was getting ready to do that. These teams send two or three guys on us — and it's not just me. Our whole D-line gets a lot of work in the off-season. These guys are hungry. If one guy's getting double teamed, somebody else is going to eat. My main thing all off season was getting the whole D-line right, so we can all eat. No matter who's getting the sacks.”
Simmons sat at the head of the table for the defensive buffet. He totaled 110 tackles, including 59 by himself. Add in 30 sacks and 40 tack
