Alan Shearer says he understands Mohamed Salah's frustration at limited Liverpool game time but believes he forward should not have made his grievances public
Alan Shearer has confessed that he can empathise with Mohamed Salah's frustration at Liverpool , but firmly believes the Egyptian forward should have kept his grievances private. The 33-year-old let loose a fiery tirade after being left on the bench during Liverpool's 3-3 draw against Leeds United last Saturday.
Salah, who has only seen 45 minutes of action in Liverpool's last three matches, was visibly upset as he navigated the mixed zone at Elland Road, and didn't hold back in expressing his discontent. He claimed to feel scapegoated by the club and revealed a strained relationship with Arne Slot.
