The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued alerts for cold-wave conditions, dense fog, showers, and thunderstorms in various parts of the country. A significant part of Delhi-NCR was covered in fog on Monday morning. People going to work or school found it difficult to see in the morning due to the severely poor visibility.

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are predicted to experience thunderstorms, and the Northeast will continue to have thick fog. Cold wave conditions are widespread across the central and east-central states, and strong winds are disrupting marine activities along the coast. These conditions are scheduled to last until December 13.
