Starlink, the satellite-based internet service from Elon Musk’s SpaceX, has officially revealed pricing for its residential plan in India, signalling a significant move toward a wider rollout in the country. The announcement follows several months of regulatory preparation and technical groundwork aimed at enhancing internet access in underserved regions.

According to the updated Starlink India website, the monthly subscription for the Residential plan is priced at ₹8,600, while the hardware kit costs ₹34,000 as a one-time payment. Customers will receive unlimited data and a 30-day trial period to evaluate the service before making a long-term commitment.

Starlink says its equipment is designed for quick self-installation and is built to withstand varied weather conditions.
