As part of the continuing and bestial persecution of Hindu minorities in Bangladeshi hellscape, veteran freedom fighter Jogesh Chandra Roy (68) and his wife Subarna Roy (65) were cruelly hacked to death in the dining room of their home in Rahimpur village under Taraganj subdistrict of Rangpur district on last Saturday night. The twin dead bodies were discovered by Dipak Chandra Roy, a relative who used to look after the old couple as their two surviving sons are in government service outside the district.
Sources from Bangladesh said that slain Jogesh Chandra Roy had retired from service as headmaster of a primary school in the year 2017 and had been living in their home with wife since then. In the fateful year of 1971 slain Jogesh Chandra Roy had played a key role as local organizer of
