Schools in Stillwater, Bethany and Edmond continued to shine and Oklahoma City Public Schools continued to chip away at its list of “F” schools for a fifth straight year in the latest version of the Oklahoma State Report Cards .

The current system used for Oklahoma’s school report cards, which was first used for the 2017-18 school year, measures six indicators — academic growth, chronic absenteeism, academic achievement, English language proficiency progress, postsecondary opportunities and graduation — at different points in an effort to provide a snapshot of school performance. Each indicator receives a specific point value that translates to a letter grade, which are then used to determine an overall letter grade.
