BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Downtown Bloomington was quiet Sunday evening, a sharp contrast to the celebrations that filled the streets after Indiana University won its first Big Ten Championship and secured the top seed in the College Football Playoff bracket .
Students spent much of Sunday recovering from the historic night, though some kept the celebrations going.
"I didn’t wake up until about 3 o’clock," IU student Alexander said. "I woke up, I was like, 'Oh my God, we’re champions.' It’s time to go celebrate. So we’re out here doing it again."
For many students, the win still doesn’t feel real.
"I think it’s crazy. I never thought that would happen when I came here as a freshman," student Zachary Fowler said. "We just got Coach Cignetti, and then the football just started getting really g
