ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Investigations are underway after a police chase ended in a deadly crash.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police, help was requested from the North County Police Cooperative at around 11:30 p.m., after a chase ended in a crash within St. Louis City limits.
Police say a white Ford sedan was speeding when it entered the city limits and struck a median at Dr. Martin Luther King and Clara Avenue. The Ford then struck two light posts, overturned and struck a parked car with five people inside at Dr. Martin Luther King and Burd Avenue.
Two people from the parked car were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the man driving the Ford died at the scene.
No officers were injured.
