Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones will miss the rest of the season with a torn right Achilles tendon, multiple outlets reported on Sunday night.

Jones was injured during the final minute of the first quarter of Sunday's 36-19 loss to the host Jacksonville Jaguars.

Colts coach Shane Steichen didn't have full details when addressing reporters shortly after the contest but allowed it might be a season-ending injury.

"It's obviously a tough situation when your starting quarterback goes down with an Achilles," Steichen said. "... Any time you lose a guy that puts in so much work and so much effort, and is always there for his team and showing up with a fibula injury and goes out there and frickin' plays. Just have so much respect for him."
