BEAVER DAM, Wis. (WMTV) -Firefighters battled a massive barn fire Sunday night in the Town of Lowell.
The Beaver Dam Fire Department was called to N5008 County Road G around 7:30 p.m. after reports of a structure fire.
First responders arrived to find the barn engulfed in flames, according to BDFD. Due to the size of the blaze and lack of nearby water, mutual aid was called in from surrounding departments.
Beaver Dam firefighters in a release said cold weather and difficult access made fighting the fire a challenge.
The fire was brought under control around 10:00 p.m.
According to the fire department, the barn is a complete loss, but firefighters were able to save several nearby buildings.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
