The race for the 2026 Golden Globes has officially begun. Actors Skye P Marshall and Marlon Wayans unveiled the nominations on December 8, setting the stage for one of Hollywood’s biggest award nights.

This year’s edition features 28 categories, including a newly introduced annual honour for Best Podcast, marking the Globes’ continued expansion into emerging storytelling formats.

The 83rd Golden Globe Awards will take place on Sunday, January 11, with comedian Nikki Glaser returning as host after her successful stint in 2025. The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+, promising a star-packed evening for global audiences.
