While last week technically marked the first week of competition across N.J. swimming, a good chunk of teams will finally hit the pool this week to kick off their season.

From Bergen County to Camden County, there are plenty of terrific swim meets to watch across the state.

Here are our can’t-miss meets for the week of Dec. 8-12.

Monday, Dec. 8

Immaculate Heart at Passaic Tech, 3:30pm

This matchup between Big North Conference rivals is always highly anticipated, and it looks ready to live up to the hype again. This new-look IHA team scored a commanding 113-52 win over Paramus Catholic and doesn’t seem to have missed a beat since last year’s run to the Non-Public state final.
