Another club owned by the Luthra brothers, a ticking time bomb, was constructed illegally with no fire safety or other safety norms, perched on a hill and on the Vagator beach in Goa - shockingly, on government land, India Today has learnt.

Despite several complaints to authorities across departments, including the police, Pollution Control Board, Coastal Zone Regulatory Board, and Town and Country Planning, no action was taken. Activist Ravi Harmalkar even received threats from the Luthra brothers warning him of dire consequences.

He finally approached the Bombay High Court, Goa Bench, which issued demolition orders. Yet, after only superficial demolition, the club continued functioning. After a contempt of court petition was filed, the Department of Tourism also issued demolition order
