Nandamuri Balakrishna’s much-anticipated sequel Akhanda 2: Thaandavam has encountered an unexpected setback, with the team forced to postpone the film’s release due to financial complications. The film was earlier slated to arrive on December 5, but ongoing issues have temporarily halted its release. With discussions reportedly moving in a positive direction, the makers are reportedly aiming for a December 12 release.
According to Cinema Express , the delay stems from an injunction obtained by Eros from the Chennai High Court, preventing the film from releasing until certain financial matters are addressed. Many senior industry figures, including D. Suresh Babu, Mythri Movie Makers and Dil Raju have stepped in to mediate between the financiers and the production team.
