NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - An evidentiary hearing involving Kilmar Abrego Garcia has been canceled in Nashville.
It is unclear when the hearing is set to be rescheduled.
Abrego Garcia is facing criminal charges in Tennessee in connection with a traffic stop in 2022. The charges include human trafficking offenses from the Putnam County stop.
He was stopped for allegedly speeding on I-40 with eight people in the car. The occupants explained they were traveling to a construction job, and, ultimately, no charges were filed at that time.
